Hostel

As initial preparations are underway in building up of the infrastructure of new IIT at Bhubaneswar, the students those have taken admission in the year 2008 are presently housed at IIT, Kharagpur campus. Of the 935 acres of land that the government has allotted to IIT, Bhubaneswar, a substantial part will be set aside for building of a sprawling hostel which will accommodate about 10,000 (ten thousand students). Also may be accommodated in the hostel around 1100 faculty members, till separate quarters are built for them.
